150 massy diesel dies like it runs out of gas

massy 150 died and wouldnt start, i checked fuel, changed the fuel and filter and bled it out. it starts and runs about 10 min. at medium throttle and dies. if i bleed it again it starts and run about the same time and dies. i dont have much diesel experience, does anyone have any advice?

Is the fuel cap vent open? Sucking air in the fuel line somewhere? Fuel shut down stuck shut? Just some things to check.

i dont see fuel leaking, and i would think if air could get in fuel would leak out. i thought i might get lucky and there was a common cause for this. could it be air coming in around the primer?

Try checking your tank for buildup or debris. Mine would suck up the gunk after about ten or underload.Cleaning the tank solved the problem.

Does it suck the filter dry? If it does, you could have a fuel restriction. I did a John Deere 4020 that was dead in a hay field that turned
out to be a wasp stuck in the fuel elbow.
