1500 wont move

1500 wont move! When I start it with clutch pushed in and in gear release the clutch the tractor won’t move! Replaced fkuid it was super dirty inspected shift forks all working order adjusted the clutch and still nothing. Upon adjusting the clutch all the way with no play at all I was able to get the machine to move with the clutch all the way depressed! Sounds like I need to replace the clutch? Any help is appreciated

I think what is probably happening there is that the pressure plate fingers are hitting the clutch disc causing it to turn and move the tractor. Sounds like something with the clutch certainly needs attention. Either the clutch disc is completely shot or something like the center broke out of the disc.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will be splitting the unit this week. With the clutch gone will the pto still engage? My pto still engages.

No, same shaft from clutch drives gears and pto. Pto may not be turning with power.
