1510 loader

Can anyone help put a value on a 1510
loader off of a 1365. It's complete
with auxillary pump, hoses, valves,
original operators manual, and the
manure teeth. No breaks or welds.
Any help is appreciated.

Are you buying, or selling? The 1510 fits 2WD Fiats (among others), if you have a 4WD you need a 1514. It may be able to be made to work, but you'll have clearance problems with the front tires.

Did you accidently hit the wrong key or was there a 1514 and a 1524? My 1365 FWA has a 1524.

Yes there was a 1514loader and yes it was for Fiat models with FWA. On a different subject my boy picked up a piece of Oliver literature for both the model 500 & 600 tractors. If he brings it over I can photo copy you a copy. J.

I'd appreciate a copy of it John. Is he the one keeping the serial registry on the Fiat builts? I sent the info on mine.

Getting back to the loaders, other than the arms themselves, would the main frame that bolts to the tractor be the same as the ones on a 1524? Mine's been through the mill. There really wasn't enough iron there for as much power and traction as you can get from one of those things when it's in four wheel drive.

Checked my literature. The 1973 book says 1514, the 1975 book says 1554 and is a red loader on a green tractor. I don't have a 1974 full line book.

My tractor's a 73. I don't know if the loader was put on that year or not. The decal and tag both say 1524. One of the many mysteries of Oliver and White.

I wonder if the 1524 was sourced from somebody besides Schwatz? I wonder if somebody out there has a 1973 dealer price book with the order codes?

I just took a look at the 72 catalog that I have scanned. That shows a 1514,but doesn't it look like it sits up above the hood higher than the 1524 on my tractor? Another possibility is that it's because mine started life as a Cockshutt.

I hate to start tossing numbers out there, but it would depend on if you want to sit on it or get rid of it. There's kind of a limited market I'd think unless somebody wants to use a torch and welder to modify it. What do you think, start at $750 and see if there are any takers?

Here's a side view picture before I painted it. It looks like it has more of a forward lean to it doesn't it?

If you look at how the base end of the bucket cylinders are mounted even on the 1810 Schwartz loaders they don't match. Hesston used a company out of Ontario for their loaders ALRO, ALCO something like that. I wonder if that would be the FIAT/Cockshutt connection?

I don't know. I looked at the tag again. It's a 1524 for sure. I didn't write down the serial number, but it starts with W47. It says White Farm Equipment Division of White Motor Corporation Brantford Ontario.

Ya,this loader and tractor both just say White on the tag. They don't say Oliver or Cockshutt either one.

Ligtht just came on. It isn't White of Oliver/White, it is George White & Sons from Ontario. It finally came to me we used to sell their sprayers at Peckens.

Do you think the loader was made by George White with a White Farm Equipment tag then? This is the tag on the tractor, the one on the loader has the same writing on it,it's just a little bit smaller with a loader model and serial number instead of the tractor numbers. My 7300 combine has a George White cab on it.
