1520 heat

Good morning, I have a 1520 gas that I use for raking and tedding purposes and have noticed significant heat in the transmission area below the seat, also, at the end of the day ended up losing the brakes as well. I have noticed over the past year or so a decrease in the 3-point raise and a "chatter" during the raising of an implement. Not sure of where to start with diagnosing, any help would be appreciated.

When was the suction screen and hydraulic filter last serviced/changed? Service those as a starting point. report what you find on the suction screen.

Do you run Hy Gard or other J20C spec aftermarket fluid?

I run Hy Gard, full change 2 years ago with suction screen cleaning. I changed the Hydro filter after this last field work and had some milkiness in the oil filter housing, but not all was milky, dip stick is clean oil.
