1550 Loader update

Had to work for a few days and finally get to work on it some more. Axle bracket holes were no where close and had been poorly torched out so I decided to weld them shut and start over. Made a template for the axle holes and transferred them to the bracket and got holes drilled in one piece. Believe it or not, all 4 holes lined up! Too windy to spray tomorrow so I’ll drill the other bracket and bolt it on. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

With your first Thread I wondered how the loader bolted on. With this post I see how it's done.
With my Farmall 400 and WD45 I had tubular frames that bolted onto the frame of the tractors. Nice was I could pull the lift with bucket and cylinders with just pulling 4 pins.
Can't remember how the loader mounted on my John Deere.
