After having driven a Oliver 1550 NF a couple of weeks ago I"m certain that I should have one of my own. In searching the Internet for 1550 for sale, however, I find there are not many out there. A few with gas engines but even fewer with diesel engines. Were there not many made? Are they a popular collector"s item? Or do the folks that have them simply not willing to part with them? Thanks

the 1550 is one of the best kept secrets out there just like you you have to drive one to experience it i have one with 1644 actual one owner hours awesome

I have a gasser with 9200 hours. I could farm with that tractor if I had to. Super nice little unit.A dealer in Delphos Ohio has a diesel for sale,wants $7500 for it.As good a tractor as the 1550 is,that's probably a bargain.

I live in north central Iowa so that's quite a distance to transport a tractor. But I'll keep looking.
