1566 IHC stuck engine

I recently bought a 1566 black stripe that has been sitting for years with exhaust covered.I tried to pull start it but the TA must be in low and does not engage.Anyway
to give the engine a little shock to free up.I have pried on ring gear on other models but this impossible on this unit.Any suggestion? Thanks.

Well on the right side of the bell housing there is a timing cover held on with two 1/4 inch bolts . Ya might try that . BUT as far as PULL Starting anything from a 706 on up with a T/A you can drag it from the east coast to the west coast and it ain't going to happen . NO engine running NO HYD .Pressure to lock up the clutches . SOOOOOOOOoooooo the best thing to do is get the tool box out and pull the head. and look.

With the tractor in 1 low, get it rolling in reverse and then dump the clutch. Sprague should grab enough to 'bump' the engine.
