1570 has power

Picture of the 1570 we got 2 years ago. 3300
original hours. Now up to 3450. Works great but
sitting for many years requires seals and other
things to be replaced. Put on new exhaust manifold
last year. This year if we take care of the leaks I
might put the hood back on. Worst part of working
on the 70 series is the hood.
Anyways. Plenty of power with the 21 foot 496 disc.
I run out of traction before I lose all my power. But
works great. Just thought you guys might like the
picture.

We never sold and 1570s. We couldn't get 1370's to hook to the ground good, with our hills.

I've never driven a 1570, but owned a 1370 and my family has had several 1370s. They were all real hard pulling tractors. Mine handled 6-18s in 2-3 in any ground and a 24' disc in 3-2 easily. A 21' disc won't work it too hard I think. Lol

We have pretty good hills here in west central Iowa. But the 1570 does pretty well. For Heavy pulling we use a 3594 but we also run a 2390 and 2290 on the 12 row planter. I'll try to get more pics as the season progresses.

Yes, the 1370's and 1570's had lots of guts. competition didn't like running against them as the Case's could pull. I sold lots of new 1370's but only sold one 1570, and that was our one and only Sprit of 76

Very rare to see tractors of that size around here when the 1570 was built. 970 and 1070 were what the larger farms of that time would look at, for Ploughing and running two row forage harvester. Not many just doing cash crops, and a 1570 would be a tractor designed for big fields of the west. Now days rare to see anyone wanting a tractor less than 100 hp, and 200-250 tractors are becoming the norm.
I like your 1570, and bet it is a great tractor.

I'm showing my age here, but when I was a kid the big farmers had late model DC4's, Super M's and Oliver 88's. And maybe had 120 acres and 40 cows to fill a 100' barn. Things have sure gone downhill from there. Don
