165 power steering cylinder

I have a 165 massey that has a leak in the power steering cylinder that has been rebuilt twice to no luck I am trying to find one to fit it will the uk cylinders fit and if not why wont they

Hello from the UK. From memory I believe
that some or many US cylinders are held
together with 4 long external bolts around
the outside. UK ones have a round head
retained by an internal circlip. Spool
adjustment on UK cylinders is by a coarse
and fine thread barrel. Not sure about
spool adjustment on US. I believe US
required play adjustments are made by two
bolts. In the UK we have a tapered pin with
a locknut. It might be possible to change
the cylinder but you'd probably have to
change the whole lot.
