1650 Replacement Temp Gauge Wiring?

Hello, replacing the original temp gauge on my 1650 gas with a Sparex replacement. Anyone know which wire goes where and how the back light is connected?

Old one on the right, new one on left. Shouldn't be this hard and I don't want to connect things wrong and burn out the new one. Thanks!

As for which wire is which on the old gauge you can find the power wire with your voltmeter or test light

On the new gauge:
The terminal marked B, would get Battery power via the switch.
The terminal marked T, I expect goes to the temperature sender.
The terminal at the bottom is marked with a ground symbol so it would wire to ground (new wire required, not used on the old gauge..
It looks like a screw terminal for the backlight. If the old backlight won't plug into the hole in the new gauge< you would hook the old light wire to that screw I believe. That the way it looks to me, YMMV.

Thanks for the info. I'll try hooking it up that way. Would have been nice if it was just the same as original.
