1650 steering tilt

[Grandpa's 8N]

The rod going from the pedal up to the retaining pin broke, leaving no way to tilt the steering wheel up or down. Luckily it broke in such a position that I can use the tractor and get on and off of it easily. I have felt around trying to figure out how to replace the linkage. The only thing I can figure out is to pull the fuel tank. Hopefully ther is a better way

I think that's going to be about the easiest way,if not the only way.
