1650 water pump

What is the difference between a gas and a diesel water pump on oliver 1650? Need to order one and diesel ones are lot cheaper than gas.

No. Just get the gas pump. I think it can be had with a new pulley for around $150.

The 1650 gas water pump will not bolt to a 1650 block!.

I'm assuming he has a gas tractor and is trying to buy the cheaper diesel water pump. That's the logical conclusion and why I told him just to get the gas pump, as it's the correct pump for his needs.

If you have a 1650 gas there is a change in water pumps by serial number as well.
