1655 Clutch replacement

I am going to start the the clutch replacement on my 1655. I would like some input into what else could use checking or replacement once the engine is out. Thanks

Always a good idea to do the rear main seal. There are several clutches available. I put a heavy duty 6 pad clutch in mine.

Coupling chain and sprockets. DO NOT use the cotters from the coupling chain over again.

Pilot and throw out bearing.

Get the flywheel surfaced!

Among the other stuff mentioned, check the spline wear on the end of the pto drive shaft and the hub/plate that drives it. Other seals to check: front and rear on 2 or 3 speed, if equipped, and the trans input shaft.
