1655 diesel engin

i saw someone asking about their 1750 tractor how did the diesels hold up in the 1655s i know its not good to lug any engin too mutch but it happens seems to run pretty good but dont want to blow it either its a late model with the pencil enjectors about 7000 hours oil pressure 35-40 lbs warm 2100 rpm 15-40 oil no 3 speed what is good rpm for it worken thanks

i run mine from 1500-1900 rpms disking and it purrs along fine. ive ran the tractor higher rpms but i just dont like to unless i have to. the 283 is a solid engine.
