1690 case

Looking at a 1980 1690 case, platform tractor 2 w.d. , are they a pretty good unit? has around 3,500 hrs Thanks

Possibly the worst tractor Case ever produced and sold. Very bad reputation throughout the ag machinery industry.

One of the biggest problems I've heard about the 1690 is its engine is too powerful for its transmission. Case eventually lowered the engine hp and re-named the tractor the 1594.
