I am looking at a 175 MF. Last week everything worked fine(brushog loader). He used it lightly and the hydrolics for the loader quit.It sounds like it is low on oil or sucking air. Oil is full. From what I read in the archives and if I understand it corectly there is two hyd pumps on this model ( 1965 ).There is also a screen in the trans. housing. does the tractor have to be broken into to change the screen and the pump? Is parts for the pump still avaiable or a new pump and screen avaiable? The MP PTO and the 3pt work fine. Thanks for any info. Sam

I don"t know very much, But I had to have the auxillary pump on my 175 replaced recently. The aux pump runs the remotes. I don"t know which of your hydraulics runs your loader. I also had problems with the pressure control valve, which is in the 3 point system. The Massey dealer just removed and bypassed that valve. He was an old guy who said that it wasn"t needed anyway. They had to split the tractor on my 175 to replace the pump. Mine is a mid 70s model. Hope this helps.
