175 remotes

I have a 175 with dual remotes. i need to change the remotes so I do not have down pressure. There are two screws on the front of the valve body. Are these adjustments for that purpose or do I have to look elsewhere? If I have to back those screws out, how far?
I really enjoy reading all the posts even though I rarely post anything myself. There sure are a lot of you with emnormous Massey knowledge.

Back the screws out untill you can move the levers The one on the left should be in the opposite position of what it is now

When I am changing mine from single to double acting, or vice versa, 1 and 1/2 turns is all it takes. When you are turning it in (for double acting) just snug the screw down, don't tighten it too much. They seem to have a habit of getting stuck in. I broke the head off of the screw once trying to screw it out for single acting. What a pain that was.
