180 Allis 3 Point ?

I bought a 180 Diesel about a year ago and I have been working on fixing most of her issues and leaks.

I thought I have fixed them all but the guy before me worked on the 3 Point he said and I now see that both of the hydraulic cylinders that lift the 3 point arms are leaking from what looks like the Plugs on the bottom side of the lift cylinders, are they leaking because he didn't use thread sealer or pipe dope on them or why would both of them be leaking / dripping out of them?

I can send pics of where I am talking about if needed.

Hopefully someone can help shed a little light on this for me.

Thanks Jeff

These are one way cylinders and I bet what you are describing is the vent plug, which should have no oil behind it. Most likely the issue is the internal o-ring seal on the piston leaking or scored cylinder barrels.

(quoted from post at 04:45:17 10/05/20) Not that hard to fix those cylinders, I had to redo my 185 several years ago.
There are TWO different cylinders used on those tractors. Most 180's have the small 2 inch diameter rods and most 185's have the 3 inch diameter rods. Two completely different cylinders and seal kits. The 2 inch size are harder to reseal and require some special tooling to do so. The 3 inch size requires a screwdriver and that's about it.
