I'm finally getting my 3000 diesel, W/ power steering fixed, and have found an 1801 with a complete loader assembly.
The 1801 is a gasser, & has a broken SOS transmission, but runs.
I have another 3000, a gasser. It doesn't run, but it has a donor manual transmission.
Can I put the two gassers together and make one good tractor?

No. They were completely redesigned for '65. Very, very few parts will interchange between the 3 cylinder models and older models. The bellhousing pattern is different.

Fordfarmer is correct.
Completely diffent machines.
Wheels and tires will fit.
As will the cotter pin in the bottom of the transmission and the cam follower pin.
I had a 66 4000 that I put new king pin bushings, etc into. 2/3/4000s still used a 2N part # for the upper bushing. Lights and fenders will swap. Maybe the cork friction washers on the throttle and lift controls?
You guys know your Fords.
What else will?
