1801 serial number location

I have looked and looked, and can not find a serial number anywhere. Even the Ford/NH dealer can't find one. Anyone have any suggestions?
It has the cast front with headlights, HD loader.
 

Get on the left side of the tractor. Squat down next to it and put your left hand on the starter, put your right hand on the clutch peddle. Your nose should be pointed at the battery. Directly under the battery is a flat spot. On that spot is both the model number, options and the serial number. If you have a diesel, it may be corroded.
