1830 JD NO HYDRAULICS

I have an 1830 deere and have lost all hydraulic pressure. I suspect it could be the pump, is there a shear key that mates the pump shaft to the motor? I'm thinking I sheared the key and is no longer being driven by the motor.

Look at the coupling between the crank pulley and pump. see if the coupling is tight next to the pulley and see if the coupling is tight near the pump where it clamps.

When did you last clean the suction screen and change the filter and fluid?

DITTO on when did you last clean the suction screen and change the filter and fluid?

Check front pump coupler to be sure pump shaft is rotating with engine crankshaft when crankshaft rotates.

Next I suggest to use frt pump destroking screw & turn DS screw CW until it quits being easily turned then CCW while engine is operating at idle.
This operation could give any foreign material that could be in seating area of stroke control valve to become dislodged.

More details would help, but doesn't it have a destroke valve? If it does, turn it in with the tractor running, then turn it back out and see if it works.
