I have trouble with the power director on my 185. Somtimes when I let out the clutch the tractor just sits there. The pedal returns but I'm not moving.If I push the pedal back in and move the power director lever up and down away it goes. Of coarse when you try to make it do it it never will. Any Ideas greatly appreciated.

Sounds like hyd. pressure issues , there has to be pressure to each clutch pack to get them to compress and engage ;get a fix it manual to describe this ; overall i,d say there are broken disc in the Powerdirector and it will need rebuilding ; Where are you located ?
