It appears my 1850 has the same shift pattern as my 1950, but I cannot find a plate anywhere, there are many out there just none are correct.
so I am looking for one, both reverses (high and low range) are over right and up, 6th is down (high range) right and down.
One guy has a decal for $10 but I would like a plate.

I believe those were all decals. Maybe check with oliverdecals.com because they also do reproduction serial plates, maybe they could do a custom shifter plate. I don't know.
Now I think about it, the plate on the 1600 isn't even up on the dash. It's on the lower cowl by the steering wheel tilt pedal.

My 1900 has a plate, (so there should be one) it's down below the console next to the data plate, like I can read it that far away, well I had no trouble reading it 25 years ago when I got it. :)

Ya, that's why I'm wondering of only the XX00 series were the only ones with a plate and 50 series all used a decal. You'd think Maibach or Smitty would have one, but you might have to go and walk an Oliver boneyard and find one yourself.

I wish there was one within a bazillion miles from me :) used to be a guy up near Hobson TX but I lost touch with him.

I am sure I have one on an 1800 which is the same pattern as far as I know. Problem is I am in Ontario Canada so probaly not worth the shipping cost? I suppose I could try mailing it to you if you want to pay the postage? I will take a look in the boneyard tommorow and see what I have first and post a pic.
