1850 Gear oil quantity

Any one know how much gear lube the tranny and rear end takes off the top of their head?

12 gals should get you close to the level plug.

If I remember right, and might not, I think a little under 15 gallons. When I filled mine after I had it apart, I filled it with synthetic. Not cheap.
