While I don't disagree with your first 2 sentences, they could certainly do without the shouting. Can't begin to guess what part of left field your 3rd sentence came from.

As for the 3rd sentence, dude has posted it multiple times in various areas, almost seems like a bot as it has been posted in his profile, classifieds, and at least one other subforum today. I know that one got deleted because I asked if he was looking for pricing advice, which apparently he must need. Someone must've reported it and the thread was removed.

This was the first post I've seen. After seeing your response, I did a member search and see where you are coming from. I went ahead and deleted what I could from my post. Obviously you weren't coming from left field, sorry.

Jim, hope you don't mind me using your response to apologize to everyone on this forum for breaking the rules.
I am a little embarrassed to learn how long this has been on here. It won't happen again.

Sorry, I probably came on a little strong. Coming in here as a first timer I generally give some lenience, it was the repeat that kicked me in. I probably gave a little too much weight to your multiple posts of this in your profile which I assume you misunderstood how that works. Someone has to purposely look at your profile to see that so it is not really of much value in the “for sale” realm because nothing prompts members to read your profile. Bottom line in having it in the classifieds is your best sales tool here. Now just making a post and having some discussion about the machine and maybe the story around may also help you and mentioning there that you have it for sale in the Classified is a better approach in my books. Showing a photo of the machine on a trailer as you did to me screams “look what I just bought.. how about someone that is out there that I can dump this on for a pretty profit” that is where my brain took me. Apologies if that was way off base.

Just for future reference you can easily see a member’s post history by just opening his profile in a thread. The word Messages appears with a number below it, just click the number. Classified adds appear the same way. I rarely come out guns a-blazing without some pretense, although this time may have been a bit over bearing. ;)
