Hi

I just purchased n around 1900 IH Grain Drill. It had one wooden wheel on left side looking from the front and a steel wheel on the other side. I tried to tow it home (about 7 miles) but wooden wheel gave out. Going to be difficult to get tractor and loader to site. My Dad has an old grain drill model unknown with one good steel wheel. The wooden wheel appears to on a 1@3/8's inch axle with a cast type hub. Will the wheel come off by simply pulling the pin and as long as axle size is the same can I switch wheels or is ther drive gears or other issues in hub that can cause problems. Am kinda in a bind with my antique grain drill on the side of the road 6 mils from home. Any help appreiated
