190XT series 3

Have a buddy with a 190xt that don’t run.
We determined today the injection pump isn’t turning. Probably means pump is junk? No core value? It hasn’t been run much since his dad died a few years ago. Doesn’t have any sentimental value
Trying to decide what to do with it.
Sell for salvage and cut losses or spend money on it and then sell running.
Tractor is in really nice shape with good rear rubber. Fronts are weathered. Decent paint, weights and straight.

Sounds way too nice to scrap.

No that pump is not junk- they have good core value- parts are valuable -- shop around - those things are still around and rebuildable,,,

I didn't say it wasn't repairable, but will be expensive IF the head is seized and shaft broken. AND, most repair shops WON'T consider it a good core for exchange if the head is seized.
