190XT Voltage Reg Location

Howdy all,
I wondered if someone could post a photo or a description of where the external voltage regulator is supposed to be mounted on a 190XT diesel. All the wiring was melted on this tractor when I started work on it so I've had to start from scratch and the regulator was just hanging out the side of the hood, I can't find where it bolts too. Have tried Google and I&t shop manul.

It looks like it bolts up under the raised cowling for the instruments. Just providing this link in case you did not know there is an online parts catalog available for your tractor. If you go to Table of Contents, that is the index of the other parts sections. AGCO AC 190XT parts catalog
Edit: I see the link takes you to the Table of Contents, section 148 is where the voltage regulator is shown.

Thank you!! I did not know they had this, I guess I should've assumed and looked at agco but honestly it didn't cross my mind. So used to Deere I just go right to the Deere catalog for what I'm lookin for. Thanks a lot!!!!

That site can be a bit of a bugger to navigate if you haven't done it before. I posted instructions for searching it on the Oliver forum just recently, so if you need to get in to it from scratch, search for that post over there. I use it a lot and still have to think for a minute sometimes before I click on anything on the first page.
