1928 GP air filter issue

I got it soaking in kero and seafoam! But it’s not budging. Rusted some. We will see. May just leave it. I have ran a lot of gas through it. It goes through pretty easy
 
29 GP air cleaner element. Notice it screws into the housing assembly.
