1930 case C-O progress report.

I just thought that I would share some pictues on my progress report on this 1930 case C-O that I am working on. Thanks to all of you out here who have sent me pictures of your fine Case CC, C-O, and old case tractors thanks for your support. If you look at this inner fender of this tractor it looks like they had cut out a square spot just so they could put air in the tires. The right side front fender support bracket has been pushed in with in turn moved the rear out and breasking off the rear support brace. It is intresting that the inner fender on the left side has a nice orange collor to it. Like sombody with iin the past three years had the tire off of it. What I would like to know I notice that there is a gear on each rear wheel axle was this for useing an attachment that might had hooked up around the axles? Hope you enjoy looking at it Brent

wheels look orange in the pictures, they should be dark red (2150 IH red)tractor is grey with silver letters on the radiator

The gear looking thing is the axle bearing adjuster. There is also a small bolt in the wheel hub that is backed out enough for the adjuster to be turned through the elongated holes in the hub, and then the bolt is screwed back down locking the adjustment. BT

Nice!

When I was a kid, I worked for an orchard that had one of those old Cases. They pulled an orchard sprayer with it. Sprayer had it's own engine. I never really ran it, and only got to bring it home to the shed one time - quite a treat for a ten year old kid!
