What would be a good hot plug to use in a 1935 B
I have used Champion w18 and auto lite 3076's but these don't seem to get it. I don't work this tractor, it has been all redone but in a long parade it seems to start loading up. Someone said AC 88L's but I don't think they will fit is their something that will fit that is the same as the AC 88L's?
Thanks for the Info

The Autolite 3077 is a deep reach HOTTER (then 3076) side wire electrode plug and its pretty well all I use in my Unstyled. They seem to foul less. HOWEVER more important then plug brand, it helps to keep the temp up to 180 and over and not run the carb any richer then necessary. Our light duty parade use just dont keep the plugs clean (nice warm gray color) like hard hot heavy full load full throttle as they were designed for.

Aside from great success stories we read all the time about with Autolite plugs, I have had exraordinary good luck with DENSO L14-U spark plugs.

I think there is a fit issue only with Champion D23 plugs which are longer outside the chamber than D21 plugs. I've no experience with AC 88L as you cite, but it is a simple enough matter to take an old plug with you to the store and be sure the replacements are NOT longer!! (PatB)

John - Since moving to Florida, much of my residual stuff was given up. But I don't recall much difference in appearance of the bottom between Champion D21 and the DENSO plug. Perhaps I should inquire next time I am in a position to do so, but physically, they presented no challenge to me on the "H" tractors. (PatB)

Hey there Pat, I used to have one of those Denso's here by my desk (I also liked them) and was thinkin it was the smaller 18 mm plug while he uses the older bigger 7/8 plug (I know he does if it takes an Autolite 3076) but like you I cant remember n sure not swear to that

Hopefully I may see oyu this winter in Florida??

Thanks for all the advice, I think I will try the 3077's I was trying to find the AC C78S but they are looking pretty hard to come by. I might also try some AC C77L's. They are 7/8's plugs so the 88L's will not work. Thanks again for all the help.
