1936 Unstyled B

I'm trying to help my grandpa and restore his 1936 unstyled B. What is the best manual to help me in this.He has it down to axles and the transmission and I get to figure out how it goes back together. Any help is appreciated.

Get a copy of the styled B service manual. The number is SM2004. Available from Deere or (cheaper and better) Davenport tractor. Although it is for the later tractor, most of it will apply.

The parts book is also a must as pointed out by Paul.

I also think it would also be worth your dollars to get a copy of the CD that Duane Larson put together of all the John Deere two cylinder service bulletins. It has a lot of info on the unstyled tractors available no where else.

And we would all be real happy to answer your questions here.
