1937 BR Manuals?

Just purchased a 1937 BR. This is my first JD and I am wondering which manuals I should buy.

For that year if you can find a true owners manual it is pretty much the only manual you will need. I have the owners manual that came with my 1935 JD B when it was new so not a reprint and it tells you just about any thing you ever need to know how to do including rebuilding the engine, putting fluid in the tires, tuning it up, etc etc etc. Sad thing is this manual is so old you so much as cough and you rip pages. I keep it in a plastic bag in a file cabinet due to how fragile it is

Old: I have a couple of those original type manuals too. Sure is sad that even JD could not reproduce as good as the originals. I have similar reprints I ordered in the late 1970's and they were no where near as good. Never could figure that one out.

I think the reason the old manuals like what came with my 1935 JD B was made that way due to the fact people did not have $$ to have others work on thee stuff so they had to do it them self or not have it fixed. I know when something happened to this old tractor I have my grand father didn't call JD and ask for help because he could not spend that type of $$ to do it
