probably a dumb question, but I am curious as to how the valve rail/train on an F20 head is lubricated? I know you have to prime the pans prior to starting and the wicks lubricate the rail. I can't see any way the oil is replenished after running. Is the prime supposed to last throughout a day in the field or do you have to re-prime every few hours? There are no direct connections that I can see between the oil pump and the head. I don't understand the engineering..... Thanks for any help!!

you have to manually oil them before start up. the felt holds the oil and drips it on valve train.

There is an "Instructive" decal on the rocker arm cover that gives all the details on the frequency of oiling the trays.

and if the sticker is gone??? its basically the longer u run the engine the more often u oil them. no such thing as too much oiling. plus that is why the valve guides and rockers are usually worn right out on those old tractors because of neglect. have seen that on many heads.

Thanks Guys! The sticker is gone but I'll eventually buy some decals. Just wanted to make sure I got the oil that it needs when I fire it up. Appreciate your help.
