I recently got my F49R cylinder head back from the machine shop, and I am more than mad to say the least. They did very little if any cleaning, milled the face, replaced valve seats and guides, did as little as possible. The BIG problem is that they magnafluxed it and said it was good, so when I picked it up Friday I noticed a one inch crack in one of the intake valve guide bores (split). When asked about it they didn"t seem too concerned and said it shouldn"t leak. So I am in desperate need of every ones opinion on what to do. Will it leak? Should I try to have it fixed? Should I try to find a replacement, keep in mind this F49r head is one of the hardest and most expensive heads to find. I told the machine shop to expect $2000 to $5000 dollars to resolve this issue and they didn"t believe me, they think this is just and plain old head you can get at any junk yard for a couple hundred bucks. Thanks
