Been a long time since Ive been on here. Always seemed to get my questions answered so here goes. I am thinking of selling my WC and wanted some ideas of what I should ask. First off, all the work was done around ten years ago and the tractor has not seen much use at allin that time. any new parts that it has is still 10 years old. 1939 with the gleaner combine engine. New tires at the time are slightly used and still has the rubber nubs sticking out. Tin is all there and in decsent shape, hood has some dents, the fenders will need some work but are very usable. Has a new battery box and starter and radiator. Engine runs really well, brakes work, good tranny works good but does need a gasket on the bottom where the PTO shaft is (leaks there). The cluch and pressure plate is out of a WD45. The rearend had all new seals and bearings installed. Has a generator but I dont know the condition of it. I have not hooked it up. The tractor was cleaned, blasted or wire wheels and primered so it is pretty clean and wouldnt take much work to be ready for paint. Has a good steering wheel, steering itself is kinda sloppy. Has an original seat, toolbox, pto cover and lights. Its not perfect by any means but it is very solid good running 72 year old tractor. I just lost interest in it years ago but didnt want to sell. Let me know what your opinions are? Thanks.

Sadly, it's worth no where near what you have in it. New rubber helps. I'd say $800-$1200. Maybe a bit more depending on location.

Not original so from a purists stance they would not be interested but from the rest of us probably at least $950.00 up to $1250.00. Keep in mind that value is relevant only to the buyer,The seller is offering the item at his preconceived price which is a starting point for barter or bargaining only.
