1940 model A fan pully

I have a 1940 model A. The pulley behind the fan blade has come loose. It looks like it broke. How do I get it off? Can I take the shaft and housing off without taking the radiator out? Is the part available? Thanks Brian

had better get yourself a IT manual. It's a
long process. I don't think the fan shaft &
housing will sneak out of there unless you
remove the govener box or radiator.. One
or the other has to move back or ahead...

Brian does your fan have a spring behind the fan if not the pulley is a 2 pice assy the bolts hold it clamped on fan assy if you need more info call me at 605 270 1844

Pull the radiator and you can get the fan off without removing the governor. Use a couple of C-clamps to compress the spring to get the keepers out.
