My depth controller was bleeding through the up valve. I took the unit off and took it to a hydraulic shop to clean it up and replace the Orings. Before I took it in I separates the unit to look inside for debris or what may have kept the value open. I didn't notice a gasket between the two blocks, just a machined surface. The shop is saying that the need a metal gasket between the blocks. I'm not sure I do. Anyone know.
