1944 B Powr Trol

Happy Easter. I have my Grandpas B that he bought new in 1945. I just bought a used Powr-Trol as an upgrade to the Powr-Lift that is on it. It has part # A1430R stamped in it. Does anyone have or know where I could find any related literature on the Powr-Trol? I've tried the John Deere Bookstore, eBay, etc. I know manuals are not free but theres got to be some information out there somewhere. I am looking for schematics, operation manual, service manual, or anything I can find. Thanks in advance.

The John Deere service manual (SM-2011) has what you're after. It covers the hydraulics on Waterloo built 2-
cyl tractors. You might try John Deere again using that manual number. Ebay can be a source also. Beware of
"reprints" as the pictures are usually almost unusable. A operators manual for any late-styled A,B, or G
tractor will have Powr_Trol operation info.

After reading your post I tried the JD site but could not find anything so I put the manual number in my search engine. It returned 118 scanned pages in public domain. They're jpegs and blurry but the information is useable.

Good morning. I just purchased a power trol off eBay. I haven t started to change it out with the power lift currently on the tractor. I m very confused and not knowledgeable about the trol I just received. I assumed the "trol" system to have plugs or ports for hydraulic lines but this doesn t seem to. Maybe there are different versions of the system? Also looking at the new one, it doesn t look like pictures I ve seen before as far as the control handle. Can anyone help me decipher what I have and what it s capabilities are? Hopefully the pictures help.
