I HAVE A 1948 FARMALL CUB THAT WILL NOT START. I HAVE SPARK TO THE CAP, BUT NOT TO THE PLUGS. I TRIED IT WITH THE MAG AND A COIL. IS NO.1 AT 12 O"CLOCK ON THE CAP? HOW DO YOU TIME THE ROTOR?
 
The book explains it well. On a mag, the rotor has teeth - You need to clean it good to see the marks. and go from there.
