1948 dc propane value

i found a dc tricycle front propane with the eagle hitch front tires fair rear 85% tread a little checking on rears person said it has not been started in 2 or 3 years

If it has Eagle Hitch, it can"t be older than 1951.

Check the serial # if you can, 1952 was the first year for propane.

Ok I was wrong but it has a hand clutcheand the stearing linkage. It curves out front

A while back saw a 1952 DC eagle hitch, hand clutch, factory wide front end, factory propane with the rare gooseneck weights and factory toplink advertised for 1200. The tractor looked decent and was in running order. I believe it sold.

I am going to look at it Friday they had it for sale 1000.00 now I think they said it is around 500.00

Definately worth $500. Probably would bring that for scrap.
