AZ GARY

When I put it in low gear the shifter drops out and leaves it in gear. The first lid had some worn shifting lugs and shift end. I built these up to
what looked like should be close to specs and it did the same thing. The spare lid I have didn't seem to be worn that much but it drops out too. I have reworked the alignment pin and grove so I don't have that much slop at the ball joint. I'm not using the reverse lock but from what I can determine that wouldn't make any difference. It looks like there is too much clearance between the two lugs but the spare lid looks like it isn't that worn.. Any ideas or suggestions?

There is a guy in Wilton Ia that rebuilds them probably to better than new. Ted Forsythe. Does fantastic work.
