1950 late B Eccentric bushing

do any of you have good specs for the actual steering sector shaft diameter and/or inside diameter of the eccentric bushings? I have a late styled B that the previous owner had left the eccentric bushings out for some reason. I received one from a donor tractor (unsure of its serial number) but the inside diameter is too small for my sector shaft. Information I received from JD parts catalogs show the same bushing on styled B with only the I styled being different. However, in this world of internet I get conflicting reports that show a change for serial numbers greater than 201000. My serial number is 275155 and I would appreciate any clarification on the correct part. I am going to measure the exact shaft diameter as soon as possible but the bushing I received has an ID of 1.49”

I didn't get any replies, but wanted to update in case anyone else runs into something similar. After much research, testing and trying to get the bushing installed, I have determined that the previous owner has at some point swapped at least the vertical steering sector shaft with one from some other model. There is no way to tell what it came from , but it is roughly 1/2 larger in diameter so it looks like my option is going to be removing it to have it machined down. As it is, the roll-a-matic has been reversed 180 degrees to make it function, but causes severe binding in the steering because of how it lines up with the worm gear.

You should be able to find part numbers on the sector gear and vertical shaft. Look on the bottom end casting for the shaft number. Then you can track it down through the online parts catalogs.

@Mike(NEOhio) @sds46a Thank you for the feedback. I do plan to remove this shaft pretty soon and see what I can find near the bottom. I've only been able to disassemble the top portion so far.

Plenty of parts tractor out there. Just get both pieces off a parts tractor.

@Mark-Ia I agree and will most likely do that when I can find a good one local. Got it running first, and just figured out what they had done previously so making those plans. The first concern was with the production range and if there was a split. Once that was 100% confirmed I was able to tell that they swapped the shaft from some other model and probably the roll-a-matic too. They had to spin it 180deg to make it work without totally binding (shaft angle). I also have a 2nd tractor now to compare to. It was supposed to be a parts tractor but turned out a little nicer than the first so we'll just get them both going.

There should be a casting on the gear that was in it.

You are correct I can’t remember the exact story but a neighbor said his dad wanted a b with a rollamatic and it came off of something else
