1950 SC Cases Radiator

I do not have any experience working on Case tractors buy I do have a 1950 SC Case with a leaky radiator. I have drained all of the antifreeze, removed the grill and the hood. I need to remove the radiator so I can get it re-cored. It doesn't look like any other radiator set-up that I have ever dealt with. Can anyone out help me with this process by giving me the information I need to know in order to remove this radiator?

Thanks

It has been a while since I had the radiator out of my SC, but it should be as simple as loosening the clamp for the bottom hose, as well as the top hose. Remove the hood and grille, and then there are 6 or 8 bolts down the front of the radiator supports on the front that you remove. Radiator then will slide upwards out of the radiator supports (or should).

I have removed the bolts from the radiator supports on the front and I have loosened the clamps on the top and bottom radiator hoses. I suppose that I just need to loosen the hoses themselves by turning them and hopefully I will be able to pull the radiator out then.

Yup. Probably just have to break the hoses loose. Should come out without much effort. You may have some rust/scale that has accumulated between the radiator and the radiator support which may hold it up as well. In that case, you can unbolt the support and radiator as a unit from the front pedestal. Only four bolts at the bottom that attach it.
