On the left side of coil 1 is top 2 is bottom. On right side of coil where is 3 and where is 4? Thank you

It seems like you are asking about spark plug wire numbering in the distributor cap of a front-mount distributor, yet by 1951, they had changed to a conventional distributor, a "side mount".
