1951 DC painted today

This is the DC that the Iowa State University Antique Tractor Club is
currently restoring. We laid two coats of flambeau red today and I
think it turned out pretty nice. The tractor has been completely torn
down and rebuilt and we are hoping to have it done by mid April
when it will become for sale to fund our next restoration project.
I've attached a photo of what it looked like when we got it in August
and one of it today when we got done painting. A lot can get done
when a group of old iron loving college students get together.

I wonder just how many other tractors could support that much weight on its oil pan without denting it. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Thanks Mike! I wish we would get a photo of it in front of davidson but they started taking it down a few weeks ago and its almost all gone now. Might have to resort to getting it in front of Curtiss or if we're lucky the Campanile. Austen

I believe the paint is enamel. Arnold Motor Company here in Ames donated everything we needed and I can't remember at the moment. Thanks for the comments
