Trying to get this tractor split into, got everything ready, have separation , about an inch - that"s all, is there some trick to getting this thing apart, I can see the clutch, been looking at it for 2 days now, just can"t get to it ???

ASSUMING you have all the flywheel housing bolts out, as well as the radius and steering arms disconnected, it SHOULD pull right apart.

The transmission shaft splines must be rusty or damaged, and hanging up in the clutch disc.

Do you have enough room to get a wrench in and remove the pressure plate bolts? Then you should be able to complete the split with the clutch disc and pressure plate hanging on the transmission input shaft. Also, did you remove the starter?

Thanks for the help, we did remove the clutch bolts through the small gap we had, found the pilot bearing had come out of the flywheel and was siezed on the end of the shaft. All back together now and working fine, thanks for your help :o)
