1952 John deere A

I just bought a 52 A and I was wondering what the compression should be. Any help would be appreciated, also I am going to be restoring it and I was wondering if you guys had any tips of things to do or things to look/lookout for when doing this. This is my first restoration so any help would really go a long way. I know you guys have a lot of really good knowledge of these machines and if you could pass some on I would love it.

Thanks alot to everony who posts and have a great day!!

The I&T shop manual #JD-4 says 110# for the gasoline and 75# fot the all fuel tractors. When checking the pressure open the throttle and choke levers full to get maximum air flow.
