1952 John Deere B

I am trying to help out a guy to get his 1952 B running. It has sat for 5 years. The carb is a Schebler DLTX 67 part number upper carb and DLT13 H 7 on lower or float bowl. The float was set way to high in my opinion. But what is the correct height for the float? I have taken the complete carb apart because there is rust and corrosion everywhere. Is the bowl and carb numbers correct for this tractor? It is S/N 298085 Tractor. Thanks

DLTX-67 is the correct carb for a straight gas 52 B and your bowl is correct.
Hold the bowl upside down and the float should be 3/8 inch below the top edge of the bowl.
