1953 ford jubilee

We have a 1953 Ford Jubilee. The 3 pt will not hold up. Tractor has a new pump and piston seals and all the related O-rings. we installed a new hyd. pump relief valve assembly part #NAA638E. We filled the rear end and blew shop air into the port in the transmission case that goes down to the relief. We have air bubbling out. Does anyone know if that is normal or has anyone ever had a crack in the transmission housing

Did you also rebuild the hyd cylinder???

Old's point is a good one. A leaking (bypassing) cylinder is a contender. Shop air should not show up on the relief valve. Was the old one bad? Jim

Yes the cylinder was rebuilt.

Did you use any type of gasket stuff on any of the gaskets?? If you did that is where your problem is those gaskets blow out if gasket cement of any type is used on them

No we didn't use anything on the gasket
